MYTHBUSTERS!

In Math/Science we did and are still working on our mythbusters project. In my group there is Alejandra, Cynthia, Julie and me. we did a myth called Penny in Coke, where we had 4 pennies and stuck them in 4 bottles. 2 filled with water and the other 2 filled with Coca-Cola. 1 of the pennies in water and 1 in the coke where put in the fridge while the other 2 were left in the class room. everyday for about a week, we would analyze the classroom pennies, and Julie who took the other 2 home, would analyze those. Mr. Leader had us write a paper and and make a movie, which we are currently working on in class, to go along with this. i think the whole project was to learn about the Scientific Method. :) It was really fun and we are so close to finishing! So that's whats happening in Math/Science right now, bye!!! (hopefully this made sense)

LOF (Lord of the Flies)

OK, so in humanities we read Lord of the Flies by William Golding. It was really good in my opinion. i loved how they immediately started to set up rules and how in their human nature needed a leader. i don't want to right to much, because then it'll sound like an essay, but i thought it was really good. hopefully some of the other teachers will let their class read it; i know i would. OK, well i will see you teachers tomorrow!
